• Myo Min Htut, a driver for the World Health Organization in Myanmar, was shot dead in Mawlamyine, Mon State. A local resistance group called the People’s Defense Organization Mawlamyine initially claimed responsibility for the killing, saying he was a military informant and relative of Lieutenant-General Aung Lin Dway.
• Nearly 100,000 internally displaced people in Chin State have been excluded from ASEAN humanitarian assistance. ASEAN announced it will rely on the military regime to deliver humanitarian aid, but most civil society organizations and activists believe the junta will weaponize it to punish regions where the anti-coup resistance is strong
• Eileen Barbaro, former president of the President of the Myanmar Nursing and Midwifery Association, passed away at age 93. Born in Kalaw, Shan State, she devoted most of her life to nursing. Her father had Italian origins
• State Counsellor Daw Aung San Su Kyi and his economic adviser Shaun Tunnel, an Australian citizen, have been charged under the Government Secrets Act by the Burmese military regime.
• India did not invite the Myanmar military foreign minister to the upcoming meeting with ASEAN countries.
• Photojournalist Zaw Zaw was officially charged for incitement by the Burmese military regime. He was arrested for an anti-coup Facebook post
• 4 months after being acquired by a military-linked company and the Lebanese M1 Group, Telenor was renamed ATOM Myanmar
• The military regime ordered to the Shan State Army (SSA), the armed wing of the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP), to withdraw from 3 bases. The SSA responded it is ready to fight against the regime.
• 11 years ago the Burmese military resumed the war in Kachin State, breaking a 17 year-long ceasefire and displacing over 100,000 civilians

CHIN STATE
• Thantlang: Thantlang Baptist Church was reportedly set on fire. Thantlang has been raided and burned several times since September 2021

SAGAING
• Wetlet: regime troops raided and burned Bote village. 1 villager was killed and 15 were abducted

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Loikaw: a local woman was killed by heavy artillery fired by the Burmese military in Daw Paw Lay village

MAGWAY
• Yesagyo: Resistance fighters attacked a military checkpoint, killing 3 soldiers

YANGON
• Pro-military local administrators in South Dagon and Hlaing Thar Yar were shot this morning

• 10 new cases and 0 new deaths
