• The Burmese military regime stripped another 17 celebrities of their citizenship. The list includes singer Kyar Pauk who recently raised funds for the National Unity Government by selling his Ukulele for 27,500 USD.
• Myanmar journalist Myo Naung Naung Zaw has been charged with violating Section 505a of the Penal Code for incitement after reporting on social media, of the battles between Resistance groups and the Burmese army near Myawaddy, Karen State.
• Ferretti Group, an Italian yacht builder accused by the Environmental Investigation Agency of illegally importing Burmese teak, despite EU sanctions, is selling its shares on the Hong Kong stock exchange.
• The military regime’s foreign minister Wunna Maung Lwin is in China meeting his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi
• The UN’s special envoy to Myanmar, Noeleen Heyzer, visited Cambodia to discuss the Burmese crisis

SAGAING
• Khin U: 6 villages have been raided and burned by the Burmese military
• Salingyi: Resistance fighters attacked the police station

KACHIN STATE
• Shwegu: in Myo Hla, Resistance fighters attacked military boats carrying weapons and food for regime troops

SHAN STATE
• Tachileik: 19-year-old Sai Sam Than was found dead by hanging in his bathroom.
• Kyaukme: Sai Pee (41) was beaten to death by regime troops. His nephew, who had also been tortured, was taken to the hospital
• Hsipaw: Northern Shan State Local civil society groups say that the Ngwe Yee Pearl Company has resumed coal mining in Namma Area since 2021 despite the opposition from local communities

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Bawlakhe: the Burmese military launched an airstrike against Karenni Nationalities Defense Forces (KNDF)
• Demoso: a 40-year-old man was seriously injured in an explosion at a church in Kwaing Ngan Village caused by artillery fired by Burmese soldiers

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Kyainseikgyi: clashes at the Takundaing police station

TANINTHARYI
• Two fuel trucks have been set on fire between Ramazu village and Leik Kyay Pyaung village on the Dawei-Htee Khi road

MON STATE
• Kyaikto: 2 civilians and several regime soldiers have been killed in yesterday’s clashes in Moppalin
