Innocent children should not be shot dead by the soldiers who should protect them. In Bilin, Mon State, Maung Kyae Sin Min and Nyi Nyi Zaw, who were only 6 and 9 years old, were killed by regime troops. Moe Lun, age 11, was reportedly tortured while in military custody in Myintge (Mandalay) on March 26.
How cruel can this military regime be?

• Myanmar Now reports that regime soldiers abducted and tortured 4 civilians in Myitnge (Mandalay), including Moe Lun, age 11, who was reportedly tortured while in military custody on March 26.
• Myanmar’s coup leader vows to provide free tuition fees for medical students who will attend in three designated medical Universities in Yangon and Mandalay in coming year. • One year after its first draft, the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) released a new version of the Federal Democracy Charter. The NUCC include the Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, the National Unity Government (NUG), Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAO) and their parties, the Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) and other pro-democracy civil society organizations. The Federal Charter should serve as a “map” for the future Federal Myanmar, a vision that most pro-democracy groups share in opposition to the military rule.

CHIN STATE
• Mindat: according to the CDF-Mindat, 17 regime soldiers have been killed in two clashes in Mindat yesterday

SHAN STATE
• Namtu: clashes between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and regime troops near Kaungra village force civilians to flee

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Hpruso: 8 regime soldiers have been killed by Resistance fighters during an attack at the police station

MANDALAY
• Myintge: Moe Lun, age 11, was reportedly tortured while in military custody on March 26.

MAGWAY
• Myaing: Resistance fighters attacked a police station in Bahin village and retreated after the military sent helicopters to counter attack

ARAKAN
• Pauktaw: Hamidur Rahman, a 15 year-old refugee at Ngat Chaung camp, has been tortured to death at the Myebon police station. Last year he was involved in a motorbike accident in which an Arakan man died.

MON STATE
• Bilin: 2 children were killed during an unprovoked attack by regime soldiers on civilian vehicles. The victims, Maung Kyae Sin Min and Nyi Nyi Zaw were only 6 and 9 years old
