The military regime keeps evicting civilians, creating thousands of new homeless and vulnerable people. Today in Kayepin road, Mingaladon, Yangon, authorities destroyed makeshift tents used by civilians who have nowhere else to go. Vendors from the famous Kyimyindaing market are being threatened by soldiers to close their shops. Similar threats took place all over Myanmar.
In Myaynigone, a popular giant mural painted in 2016, has been erased. The Burmese military is only able to destroy.

POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS
• Food Panda and Grab Food riders are protesting and calling for a boycott on March 20th, after their salaries have been reduced from 1200 kyats to 600 kyats per delivery

SAGAING
• Khin U: nearly 140 houses have been destroyed in Kala Lu Village and Sha Lwin Village by artillery shells fired by the Burmese army

SHAN STATE
• Naungcho: Resistance fighters attacked the 115th Light Infantry Battalion of the Burmese army
• Phekone: funeral for Thein Htoo and Comrade Aung Kyaw, 2 comrades who were killed in Songkan village while fighting against the Burmese military

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Loikaw: 15 regime soldiers have been killed during clashes against Resistance fighters in Saungkan village
• Demoso: 6 regime soldiers killed by snipers of the Resistance
• Burmese troops are using schools and religious buildings as their bases to launch attacks in Loikaw and Demoso

COVID DAILY (as reported by the military-controlled Ministry of Health. Real figures are believed to be higher than officially reported)
• 445 new cases and 1 new deaths
