Myanmar social media is filled with images of civilians queuing up to get some water. Power outages all across the country are forcing civilians to fill their containers of water for domestic use.

POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS

• 53 Burmese citizens who illegally crossed the Thai border, have been arrested in Thailand.
• The National Unity Government (NUG), released its budget for 2021/22, allocating funds for aid to displaced civilians, members of the civil disobedience movement (CDM), online education, military defense.
• The National Unity Government defense minister Yee Mon claims hat NUG has raised 30 million USD to fund the People’s Defence Force (PDF)
• The bodies of Mai Nom Han (39), a member of the Ta’ang Party (TNP), his wife, (26) and their 7-months-old daughter have been found near Ton Law village, Mongkaing. Locals think they have been killed by RCSS (Restoration Council of Shan State) troops.
Khit Thit media claims to have a recording of military minister Gen Soe Htut, ordering to crush the February 1st Silent Strike with any means necessary.

SAGAING
• Chaung U: regime soldiers raided and burned Shwe Hlae and Htan Taw Taik villages. Two civilians have been shot dead

SHAN STATE
• Naungcho: at least 40 regime soldiers, including tje commander of the 147th Infantry Division, have been killed by Resistance fighters in the past 2 days
• Aungban: a military informant killed

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
Loikaw: 1 Resistance fighter killed on March 11th. 7 regime soldiers killed near Thiri village today. The funeral for Loikaw PDF soldier Maung Myo Aung was held today

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Myawaddy: clashes between the Karen National Liberation Army and regime soldiers near Maw Khee village
• Kananlay village: 2 regime troops killed by Resistance fighters

MANDALAY
• Kyaukse: a military convoy has been attacked with landmines on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway. Two soldiers killed
• Patheingyi Township: a Pyu Saw Htee member (pro-military militia) has been killed

BAGO
• Nattalin: 3 Resistance fighters have been abducted, interrogated and killed by regime troops

AYEYARWADY
• Bogale: 4 people, including an NLD (National League for Democracy) member, have been arrested by regime authorities on March 11th

TANINTHARYI
• Dawei: clashes broke out near the Thai border between the Karen National Liberation Army and regime troops. Five people, including the deputy battalion commander of the 276th Infantry Division of the Burmese Army, were killed

COVID DAILY (as reported by the military-controlled Ministry of Health. Real figures are believed to be higher than officially reported)
• 880 new cases and 2 new deaths
