As the internet shutdown in Sagaing continues, there are several reports of attacks by the Burmese military in the region. Civilians are facing major attacks in Chin State, Kachin State, Karenni State and Magway as well. Several villages have been torched to the ground. A 5-year-old child was killed by artillery shells in Khin U township, and a Christian pastor is in critical conditions after stepping on a landmine planted by the Burmese military in a potato farm in Chin State.

POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS
• Golden Myanmar Airlines owned by Khin Maung Aye; Bruges Energy owned by Aung Ko Win and Thein Win Zaw owned by Shwe Vyin Phyu Six companies banned from doing business by the National Unity Government (NUG), for helping the Burmese military importing fuel oil that might have been used for its airstrikes against civilians
• Myanmar Now: “Norway’s Telenor may soon commit an “egregious breach” of EU sanctions in Myanmar by selling a surveillance system to a junta-linked company that will allow the military to spy on millions of phone and internet users in real time”. According to leaked documents, Telenor’s sale to a Myanmar-Lebanon joint venture, will include a “Lawful Interception system” made by a German firm called Utimaco. According to a Telenor staff member, all telecom operators had to install the intercept system.
• The military regime revoked the Burmese citizenships to 11 members of the opposing National Unity Government (NUG) and pro-democracy activists: 1. Zaw Wai Soe, Yee Mon, Lwin Ko Latt, Zin Mar Aung, Htin Lin Aung, Aung Myo Min, Ei Thinzar Maung, Dr. Sa Sa, Min Ko Naing, Myo Yan Naung Thein, Ei Pancelo.

CHIN STATE
• Falam: Resistance fighters killed 5 regime soldiers in Rihkhuadar Town
• Ramthlo: Aung Shwe, a Christian pastor of Ramthlo Baptist Church, is in critical conditions after being hit by a landmine planted by the Burmese military at his potato farm.

SAGAING
• Depayin: regime soldiers raided Waba village, looting and burning around 60 houses.
• Salingyi: Resistance fighters claim to have killed more than 20 regime soldiers during an attack on a military convoy on the Pathein-Monywa road
• Kyun Hla: regime soldiers raided Kyun Hla Welamu village, destroying several properties. 20 regime soldiers have been killed near Wei Thaw village
• Khin U: the Burmese military raided Mantaw and Dan Kone villages. A 5-year-old child was killed by artillery shells, and 2 civilians were injured by gunshots. Several houses have been burned
• Htee Chaing: the Kachin Independence Army and Resistance fighters attacked a military convoy killing at least 25 soldiers

KACHIN STATE
• Indawgyi: Khit Thit Media reports that the military regime is collecting bribes from illegal gold miners
• Mawlu: coordinated attack by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and People’s Defence Forces (PDF) on a military convoy

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Demoso: the Burmese military deployed more than 300 troops. Several explosions have been reported.
• Hpruso: a Resistance fighter was killed during clashes in Thayar Gone Village yesterday.

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• The Burma Spring Center in a Thai-Myanmar border town has conducted two weeks of basic sewing training and one week of dyeing and embroidery training for Civil Disobedience Movement (CDM) members and revolutionary activists to help them find work. (Source: Mizzima)

MAGWAY
• Pauk: regime soldiers raided In Nge Daung, opening fire and looting houses. 29 residents, including children were used as human shields
• Taungdwingyi: a military-appointed local administrator and an alleged military informant, have been killed by Resistance fighters

ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• The Arakan Army spokesperson Khaing Thukha, during an online press conference said that the AA has no plan to speak to the military junta, as it is not the legitimate government. He also said that ”If there is no place for the political status we want in this union, we will have to create it ourselves and continue to build our government and our future nation-state together with the international community.” The main goal of the AA is to create an independent Arakan State.

BAGO
• Otpo: a military-appointed local administrator was killed

YANGON
• North Okkalapa: a woman, accused to be a military informant, was killed
• According to Resistance groups, 67 members of the military regime have been killed in the past month

COVID DAILY (as reported by the military-controlled Ministry of Health. Real figures are believed to be higher than officially reported)
• 1596 new cases and 3 new deaths
