Residents in Sagaing and Magway regions report frequent telephone and internet communication shutdowns, as the Burmese military continues to launch attacks against civilians. 2 mothers and a young man were killed in Kalay today, while several civilian houses are being burned on a daily basis.
All of this is happening while the United Nations Security Council fails to agree on a simple statement to condemn the Burmese military regime. People continue to die, killed by soldiers or by the effects of this inept military dictatorship, and yet the world won’t offer any help.
