• Former Government spokesperson Zaw Htay died of a heart attack. The 48-year-old former military major, served as a spokesman under both the Thein Sein-led government and the Daw Aung San Suu Kyi government. He was a controversial figure who defended the Burmese military against the accuses of genocide against the Rohingya
• During a recent press conference, the military regime’s spokesperson Zaw Min Tun, said the regime is preparing new taxes on businesses
• Military spokesperson Zaw Min Tun criticized Saifuddin Abdullah, Foreign minister of Malaysia, for requesting international support for Rohingya refugees in Malaysia. He said Malaysia is using “monkeys” to gain profit
• According to Justice For Myanmar and Human Rights Watch, Air Force Lt. Col. Hlwan Moe who recently received military training in Japan, could be responsible for war crimes against civilians. Hlwan Moe is deployed at the Magway Air Force Base as a deputy battalion commander and could be directly involved in airstrikes against civilians
• The Arakan National Party (ANP) will hold an emergency meeting to settle internal tensions
• At least 17 Rohingya have been found dead after their boat capsized due to bad weather in Ayeyarwady region.
• According to rumors, the National League For Democracy (NLD), would be leaving the National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), an organism that brings together all democratic forces opposing the military regime
• The New Mon State Party is the second ethnic armed group to meet the military regime for peace talks. All relevant ethnic armed organizations have refused to participate

• Thantlang: Burmese soldiers burned civilian houses once again. Thantlang has been burned multiple times since September 2021
• Mindat: an 11-year-old lost his leg following a heavy artillery attack by the Burmese military in Madat Village
SAGAING
• Depayin: according to Rangoon Modern Media, 52 houses have been burned by the military in Nagadwin village. More than 40 burned dead bodies have been discovered in Thayattaw village
KACHIN STATE
• Hpakant: the Kachin Independence Army (KIA), claims to have killed 5 regime troops in a landmine attack
MANDALAY
• Chan Aye Tharsan: two women, mother and daughter, have been killed by regime pro-military Thway Thou
MAGWAY
• Kyauktaw: according to the Yaw Regional PDF’s Alliance (YRPA), 9 regime soldiers have been killed in a landmine attack on the Kyauktaw-Ponnya road
ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• Thandwe: 2 civilians have been sentenced to 3 years of prison for alleged ties to the armed Resistance against the military coup
• Taungup: the Burmese military increased its presence at Kin Taung village, setting a curfew from 10pm to 4am. Tensions between the Arakan Army and the Burmese military regime have been increasing in the past weeks.
• Ann township: the Burmese army fired heavy artillery to intimidate the local population
BAGO
• Thayarwaddy: 5 soldiers injured in a landmine attack at a rice mill in Gone Min Myaung village
• Daik U: the Burmese Military claims to have raided a Resistance base, killing one Resistance fighter and seizing several weapons
AYEYARWADY
• Pathein: at leat 17 Rohingya have been found dead after a boat capsized on May 21st due to bad weather
MON STATE
• Ye: clashes have been reported in Ayu Taung Village
