• Tun Myat Naing, Commander of the Arakan Army, warned Htin Latt Oo, Commander of the Burmese military based in Rakhine State (Arakan) on Twitter, using “colorful” words: “Don’t cross the line, I don’t give care about the peace process and I would come there and attack you”. Tun Myat Naing is referring to the attempts by the military regime to expand its control in Arakan State, warning the Arakan Army will retaliate if their independence will be threatened.
• After the Karen National Union (KNU) and the Kachin Independence Organization (KIO), also the Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) and the Chin National Front (CNF) announced that they will not attend the peace talks organized by the military regime.
• 156 Burmese immigrants have been arrested in a jungle in Thailand by Thai authorities. They reportedly paid human smugglers around 900 USD to be able cross the border, trekking for 4 days in the jungle, hoping to find a better future in the neighbouring country
• Min Aung Hlaing accused youths of the Burmese diaspora of trying to destroy Myanmar. He announced a plan to teach them the 38 Buddhist values via the military-controlled TV Channel MRTV
The military regime launched a new MRTV (a military controlled TV channel) app. The app was blocked on both the Appstore and Google Play just few hours after the announcement. The MRTV website is also currently down.

SAGAING
• Ye-U: a woman was reportedly killed by regime troops in Naw Kone village during a raid in which houses were burned
Monywa: the Burmese military has confiscated around 80 vehicles belonging to charity organizations in an attempt to block humanitarian aid to internally displaced people in Sagaing. The move comes on the same day in which ASEAN identified Sagaing (along Karen, Karenni, Magway and Bago), as one of the regions where to send humanitarian aid.

MANDALAY
• A military raid on a base used by local anti-junta defence forces in Mandalay Region’s Madaya Township on Wednesday led to an estimated 11 casualties on the junta’s side and the subsequent arrest of five members of the resistance, one of the fighters said. (Source: Myanmar Now)

• Htilin: more than 3,600 reportedly fled from 16 different villages, after military raids in the area
ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• Internally displaced people (IDPs) taking shelter at displacement camps in Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Rathedaung and other townships in Rakhine State are suffering many hardships under Myanmar’s military rule. The regime’s Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement stopped providing rice to the camps in February. (Source: The irrawaddy)
• Sittwe: the Burmese police reportedly arrested 5 Rohingyas for paying taxes to the Arakan Army.
AYEYARWADY
• Ngaputaw: the Burmese military arrested several Arakan people near Haigyi Island on suspicion of having ties with the Arakan Army.
