POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS
• The military regime is abolishing all student unions and ordered all universities across the country to remove all union’s signs, memorials, flags and offices.
• Two Russian pilots are expected to arrive in Myanmar to train Burmese personnel on how to operate newly acquired SU-30SME jets.
• Journalist Nyein Chan Wai (Bago Weekly Journal) has been sentenced to 11 years and 3 months of prison
• The Indian embassy in Myanmar denies the report by the Chindwin News Agency that India sent a huge convoy carrying fuel for the Burmese army, claiming the trucks were carrying bitumen for road construction. Leaked documents of the Ministry of Home Affairs, show that aviation fuel has been sent from Thailand too.
• Telegram banned 2 pro-military channels for violating their terms of service. Pro-democracy activists have been reported several pro-military channels for months. These channels, followed by dozens of thousands people, have been used to punish activists and journalists who oppose the military regime. Unfortunately they are only two of the many pro-military Telegram channels

CHIN STATE
• Falam: Resistance fighters attacked a military camp near Teo Chaung killing 3 soldiers

SAGAING
• Tangse: 15-year-old Ma Thei Ei Phyu and a 70-year old woman were shot dead and burned by regime soldiers. 5 regime soldiers killed in clashes against Resistance fighters in Sein Sa village
• Chaung U: 16 soldiers killed with landmines along the Chaung-U-Myinmu road. 4 regime soldiers killed near the Ywa Thar Aye village

KACHIN STATE
• Mung Hkawng Laika Zup Ja village: clashes between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and regime troops

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Moebye: 2 regime soldiers of the 66th Division were captured by Resistance fighters

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Hpapun: the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Brigade 5 attacked the 97th Infantry Battalion of the Burmese Army in Mae Trulaw village. 3 soldiers were killed an 27 were captured according to Chindwin News Agency.
• Kawkareik Township: five vehicles were set on fire on the Kawkareik-Myawaddy Asia Road and a driver was killed by regime soldiers.

MANDALAY
• Myingyan: 6 dead bodies were dumped by the military in Nan Myint and Paya Hla villages

BAGO
• Taungoo: military authorities demolished all the shops on the corner of Maina Kwin despite having collected taxes just recently

YANGON
• 1 soldiers killed during a shooting in front of the Military Headquarters
• 4 Rohingyas travelling from Sittwe have been arrested. Rohingya people have been denied freedom of movement, and risk at least 2 years of prison

COVID DAILY (as reported by the military-controlled Ministry of Health. Real figures are believed to be higher than officially reported)
• 641 new cases and 3 new deaths
