The situation in Chin Pong Village, Yinmarbin (Sagaing Region), is still tense. AS reported yesterday, over 80 pre-school children are being held hostage by regime soldiers who are reportedly using them as human shields.

• Demoso: the military regime launched an airstrike on Lobakho village.
• Hpruso: Resistance fighters attacked a checkpoint, killing 2 soldiers

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Hpapun: nearly 100 civilians forced to flee due to constant threats by the Burmese military

MANDALAY
• Explosions in Chanmyathasi and Pyigyidagun. 2 men, allegedly Resistance fighters, died
• Myingyan: in Kadaw, the local administrator threatened to shoot civilians who attempted to leave. A 50-year-old woman died of heart attack

MAGWAY
• Yezagyo: clashes in Sinte village. 10 soldiers have been reportedly killed
