80 pre-school children have been arrested by the Burmese military. Children.
Every single day the Tatmadaw displays all of its cruelty. To see the amount of support it gets from neighbouring countries (and western ones too) is shocking. How in the world could anyone excuse such criminals?
Last week Shwe Yoon Eain, a 2-year-old child died under custody. She was being detained in Thandwe prison with her mother, who is suspected of supporting the Resistance. Shwe Yoon Eain was born with birth defect and was wearing an ostomy pouch, and she probably died due to a cold caught while living in those poor conditions.
According to the United Nations, at least 114 children have been killed by the military regime since February 1st 2021.
