• The military regine appointed Ko Ko Hlaing, envoy for international coordination, and Union Attorney General Thida Oo to lead the legal team representing Myanmar at the Hague, in the Gambia vs. Myanmar case at the International Court of Justice. The Burmese military seeks to defend itself against accuses of genocide against the Rohingya.
• Ma Yin Myat Noe Oo, a Yangon University student, has been sentenced to 3 years of prison for participating in anti-coup protests in April
• Two young girls have been sentenced to 7 years of prison for donating the equivalent of 5 dollars for internally displaced people
• Japan’s Mitsubishi Corporation to withdraw from Yedagun natural gas project (Source Khit Thit Media)
• British retail giant Tesco will withdraw from Myanmar and stop sourcing products from the country after claims that one of its suppliers refused to compensate thousands of its workers when it closed down, according to Ecotextile News. (via Mizzima)

• Putao: the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) attacked the military regime at the Shengat Bum base

SHAN STATE
• Moebye: Dr Aung Gyi – a medical doctor and Christian pastor who joined the Resistance, was reportedly among the several victims killed by the military junta
• Moebye: a military jet fighter appears to have been hit whole flying over the area. Some locals reported that the jet fighter crashed

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Mutraw: the military regime dropped six bombs in the area during an airstrike

MANDALAY
• Myingyan: a Pyu Saw Htee group (pro-military militia) attacked San Aung and his sons in Nyaung Toe for participating in anti-coup protests. San Aung died yesterday, after 2 days without receiving any treatment. In the same village, Aung Nyunt was beaten to death. His body was left on the roadside

MAGWAY
• Pakkoku: Resistance fighters attacked a military checkpoint killing 2 people

ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• Thandwe: Shwe Yii Win, a 2 year-old-child, died in prison where her mother was being detained. She died due to the poor living conditions inside the prison
• The Arakan Army (AA) took place in a surprise offensive against the military regime

BAGO
