•  Chinese companies who won the bids or the construction of ground-mounted solar projects during the civilian rule, are not proceeding according to plans. The reason could be that several of these projects are based in Sagaing and Magway, where the Resistance against the coup is very strong.

•  According to the Karenni Human Rights Group, 170,000 people have been displaced by conflict in Karenni State.

•  Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, says he will invite Myanmar General Min Aung Hlaing to the next ASEAN summit, only IF there is progress in the 5 points consession.

CHIN STATE

•  Kanpetlet: a 16-year-old Resistance fighter of the Chinland Defence Force (CDF) was killed during a battle against the military regime

•  According to the Chindwin News Agency, over 80 regime soldiers have been killed in the last 10 days in Chin State

•  Rezua Town, Matupi: around 3,000 civilians have been forced to flee after weeks of clashes between Resistance fighters and regime soldiers

•  Demoso: funeral for fallen Resistance fighter Maung Zin Myo Oo

•  Myawaddy: the military regime announced it will arrest anyone who will partecipate at the February 1st Silent Strike

•  Soldiers of the Arakan Army (AA) received Covid vaccines

•  Thilawa port: a Russian ship carrying artillery and ammunition arrived in Myanmar. A sanctioned Iranian ship was also spotted in Myanmar
