• According to DVB, during a meeting in Naypyidaw, Min Aung Hlaing pointed at “class differences” as the reason for the conflict, “What we need is to minimize class differences in all areas of the country. • Ye U: 7 Resistance fighters have captured and shot dead by regime soldiers. Their bodies showed signs of torture.

• 5 regime soldiers have been killed along the Chindwin River yesterday. They were carrying supplies for the Tatmadaw.

SHAN STATE
• Khaing Lone: the United Wa State Army (UWSA) is deploying troops in southern Shan State to deter an attack by the Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS), a rival ethnic armed organization who is accusing the powerful Wa Army of backing its rival, the Shan State Progress Party (SSPP). RCSS has been accused of supporting the Burmese military regime by providing the logistics for aviation fuel.

• As the military regime is cutting power to those who did not pay the electricity bills, many people have been seen queueing up to submit their payments and avoid being left in the dark. Most citizens have been refusing to pay the bills since February 2021, as a sign of protest against the military regime, and to stop funding the generals.
MAGWAY
• 9 soldiers have been killed by Resistance fighters of the Student Union Army

• Pauk: regime soldiers burned about 10 Kyauk Su Lake oil wells. According to local sources who spoke to Mizzima, soldiers believe that these oil wells support Resistance groups.

• Thanlyin: another series of explosions targeting the regime soldiers.
