14 civilians have been arrested in Maubin, Ayeyarwady, for having pictures of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi in their phones. The absurdity of this authoritarian regime is on display every single day.
Meanwhile the Resistance in Sagaing has been able to liberate some areas, to the point that it is now able to provide some health services with the support of the National Unity Government. To gain some territory control is crucial, not only to provide protection to the civilians. It would also help regime soldiers to defect more easily.
The Irrawaddy published an interview to David Scott Mathieson. Although it does not provide any new information, one sentence is particularly true:
“I think the military lost the battle for Myanmar by staging the coup. Even if they can hold on to power, people will hate them for what they did and they are not going to stop resisting.”

• Hakha: clashes between Resistance fighters and regime soldiers
SAGAING
• Yinmabin and Salingyi: according to Myanmar Now, over 7,000 civilians fled their homes since Saturday, for fear of new attacks by the military regime
• Shar Kwe and Thit Saint, Wetlet: regime soldiers used civilians as human shields during a raid, making it impossible for Resistance fighters to defend themselves, and forcing them to flee. A Shwebo PDF camp was destroyed.
• Wetlet: at least 10 regime soldiers killed in a landmine attack
• Wetlet: a captain and a lieutenant sergeant of the Tatmadaw beaten by a snake, one of them reportedly died.
• Kalay: U Pho Tun (40) killed by regime soldiers during a raid
KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Loikaw: 20 regime soldiers reportedly killed by Resistance fighters. 3 soldiers have been. The captured alive. The military regime launched an airstrike
KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Kawkareik: Myanmar Now reports that the junta launched a coordinated attack from both ground and air, using helicopters.
• Phalu Lay Village, Lay Kay Kaw: new clashes between Resistance fighters and regime soldiers

• Madara: several regime soldiers killed during clashes.
AYEYARWADY
• Maubin: 14 civilians, including a 14 year-old girl, have been arrested by the military regime for having pictures of NLD leader Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, on their phones. They were asked up to 2,700 USD to be released.
