•  The military regime closed the United Nation’s (UN) Special Envoy’s office in Naypyitaw. Noeleen Heyzer, recently replaced Christine Schraner Burgener as the envoy to Myanmar

CHIN STATE
•  Thantlang: a defector from the Light Infantry Battalion 222, claims to have witnessed the killing of Pastor Cung Biak Hum on September 18th. According to the defector, a member of the Light Infantry Division 66 shot the Pastor while he was keeping his hands up.

SAGAING
•  Htigyaing: according to the Tigyaing Revolution group, regime soldiers used civilians of a nearby village as human shields during a clash with Resistance fighters. The civilians were later released.
•  Dr Myint Naing, former chief minister of Sagaing, has been sentenced to 2 years of prison under section 505(b) of the penal code (incitement)

SHAN STATE
•  According to the Kokand army, at least 100 regime soldiers have been killed during clashes on Sunday.
•  Moneko: airstrikes by the regime during clashes against the Kokang army (MNDAA)

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
•  The Karen National Union has instructed all brigades to fire regime soldiers

MANDALAY
•  Maha Aung Myay: regime soldiers raided two jade trade compounds detaining several traders. The junta has banned jade trading through WeChat, a platform mainly used by Chinese buyers. Regime authorities are fining (over 500 USD) those detained, and demanding around 300 USD to get the motorbike back.

MAGWAY
•  Hnan Khar: the dead bodies of 9 civilians, including 2 teenagers, have been discovered.

NAYPYIDAW
•  The Naypyitaw People’s Defense Force (PDF) claims to have killed 12 regime soldiers during a landmine attack yesterday.

AYERYWAWADY
•  Wives of Maubin’s policemen have refused to undergo military training. The regime is ordering wives of police officers to train.
•  Mawlamyinegyun: villagers have been forced to guard a Mytel tower to avoid paying a 20.000 kyats fine.

YANGON
•  A gunfight followed an explosion at Yangon International Airport. A youth was abducted.

MON STATE
•  Dr Aye Zan, former Mon State Chief Minister, has been sentenced to 2 years of prison under section 505 (b) of the penal code (incitement)

THANINTHARYI
•  Dawei: regime soldiers raided an armed Resistance base. No casualties reported.
