The 2 collaborators of the deputy commander of the deputy minister of the Tatmadaw, have testified that morale in the Tatmadaw is low and that many soldiers are not following orders from above. Once thought as a monolithic institution, the military regime is showing signs of stress, although it’s still early to say anything about the result.

• The military regime prohibits to watch DVB, BBC and VOA

• Katha: 7 pro-military ward administrators resigned, after threats by Resistance fighters

• Kyauk Yit (Myaung): Resistance fighters attack military vehicles killing and unknown number of soldiers
• Puleh: Resistance fighters kill 5 regime soldiers
• Taungtha: Resistance fighters kill a man guarding the Chinese oil pipeline
• Monywa: various explosions in various military and their families sites.

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Kawkareik: 3 regime soldiers killed
• Kamamaung, Mutraw: ward administrator killed

KACHIN STATE
• Indawgyi Mong Naung village, Mohnyin: two Junta fighter jets bombed civilian houses, missing the target.

CHIN STATE
• Thantlang: one soldiers died during clashes between Regime fighters and Matteo

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Demoso: regime soldiers shot and killed 2 civilians

SHAN STATE
• Over 6,000 civilians displaced by a conflict between two rival ethnic armed organization

MAGWAY
• Myaing Township: a couple who was member of the pro-military political party USDP was shot. The husband died, while the wife has been injured.
• Yesagyo: a Mytel employee lost his legs after an explosion caused by a landmine planted by islandregime soldiers to protect military economic interests from Resistance fighters attacks.

TANINTHARYI
• Dawei: clashes between Pyu Saw Htee (civilian pro-military armed gorup)and Resistance fighters. 2 Pyu Saw Htee killed

BANGLADESH
• Bangladesh is planning to relocate over 80,000 Rohingya from Cox’s Bazar to Bhashan Char island, after an agreement with the UN that will oversee the conditions of refugees in the new place. 19,000 Rohingya have been moved there despite concerns by the UN and Amnesty international. The island is thought to have an inhospitable weather, and dozens Rohingya found death trying to escape by boat. Over 850,000 Rohingya are living as refugees in Bangladesh after fleeing Myanmar because of the violence in Arakan (Rakhine) State
