• Myanmar air force chief General Htun Aung has apologised to his Thai counterpart after a Myanmar military fighter jet intruded into Thai airspace on Thursday (Source: The Irrawaddy)
• The intrusion in Thai airspace happened while Burmese jet fighters were attacking Resistance groups near the Myanmar-Thai border. Some rumors claim that the jet fighters were led by Russian pilots. The Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and the Karen National Defense Organization (KNDO) have been attacking Ukayit Hta military outpost in Waw Lay in Karen State’s Myawaddy Township.
• Military spokesperson Zaw Min Tun told AFP that dialogue with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is “not impossible”.
• The Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ meeting is taking place in Bagan, Myanmar. Foreign ministers of China, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam are attending
• 73 year-old Win Mya Mya, an MP for the NLD party, was sentenced to 3 years of prison after being charged with incitement under Section 505a of the Penal Code.
• 80 Myanmar nationals suspected were arrested in Lankar town, Manipur, for allegedly crossing the border illegally.
• Japanese beer giant Kirin agreed to a buyout of its shares in a joint venture with military-controlled-company Myanmar Brewery
• Myanmar singer Paing Thet Kyaw was sentenced to 3 years of prison for supporting the Civil Disobedience Movement against the military regime

CHIN STATE
• Matupi: a retired major of the Burmese military allegedly raped a 17-year old girl
• Mindat: 2 civilians were killed during an airstrike launched by the Burmese military

SAGAING
• Yinmarpin: over 7,000 civilians led their homes following raids by the Burmese military
• Shwebo: 9 Resistance fighters, including 4 teenagers, were executed by regime soldiers on Wednesday. The youngest victims were two girls aged 14 and 15.
• Khin U: a two-year-old girl was seriously wounded after she was shot in the neck while her family was fleeing a raid on their village on June 29th (Source: Myanmar Now)

SHAN STATE
• Locals claim that a militia operating under the Pa-O National Organisation (PNO) has been forcibly recruiting members from villages across multiple southern Shan State townships to fight against anti-junta resistance groups. (Source: Myanmar Now)
• A 17-year old girl was allegedly raped by a Burmese soldier in Hongkyant Village on June 27th
• Moe Myaik: clashes between Shan State Progress Party/Shan State Army (SSPP/SSA) and the military regime.

ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• Kyauktaw Township: a man from Wethmine village was severely injured in a landmine explosion

BAGO
• Mone: The Karen National Liberation Army claims to have seized 5 military outposts.

AYEYARWADY
• Gyiankhin: the Burmese military seized a Resistance base camp near Sapa Ung village

YANGON
• Myanmar Now reports that members of Myanmar’s military junta set fire to and destroyed a market in Hledan, Yangon, on the night of June 30.
