• Myanmar’s military council is sending weapons factory workers to the frontlines and army doctors to lead public hospitals, inside sources say (Source: Myanmar Now)
• One of Myanmar top tycoons U Chit Khine was detained for unknown reasons by the regime on Monday evening in Yangon upon his return from an overseas trip. U Chit Khine is the chairman of the Eden Group of Companies, one of Myanmar’s largest conglomerates, with interests in construction, hospitality, oil and gas among others. (Source: The Irrawaddy)
• Nearly 40 Buddhist clergy have been killed, and 40 others jailed, since Myanmar’s military took control of the country in a coup last year, according to data compiled by RFA’s Myanmar Service. (Source: RFA)

• The military regime has reduced the prison sentence to former minister of religious affairs Thura U Aung Ko to six years (75). He is reportedly suffering of anemia and heart disease. He was was sentenced in March 2021 to 12 years in prison for corruption.
• A Myanmar junta court on Monday postponed giving its first verdict in the corruption trial of ousted leader Aung San Suu Kyi, a junta spokesman told AFP, a case which could see the Nobel laureate jailed for 15 years. (Source: Mizzima)
• Myanmar’s military closed the border with Thailand at Htee Khee in Tanintharyi Region on Monday after a people’s defense force (PDF) attacked a Dawei-Htee Khee road police station. (Source: The Irrawaddy)

• Mutraw: the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) seized food packages dropped by regime helicopters for its troops in Mae Wai camp in Dwe Lo Township
