Resistance groups are increasing their attacks in Yangon. After the attack to Myanmar Central Bank vice-Governor Daw Than Than Swe who was shot at her house in Bahan Township, and yesterday’s attacks with rockets at the air force base in Mingaladon, a golf course and a military-controlled factory, today Resistance fighters attacked a military compound on Inya Road and killed Major Kaday Phyo Aung, a military administration officer in Lanmadaw Township.
Clashes continue to be intense in Lay Kay Kaw (Karen State), Sagaing and Magway too

• Khit Thit Media reports that during a recent meeting, Min Aung Hlaing complained with the outgoing Australian ambassador about Australia granting asylum to defecting Burmese soldiers.
• Myanmar refugees in Mizoram will receive identity cards

SAGAING
• Kalay: clashes between Resistance fighters and the Burmese army have been reported
• Pinlebu: as fighting intensified in the area, 17 regime troops have been reportedly captured by Resistance groups

SHAN STATE
• Nam San: 4 soldiers of the 252th Battalion defected in Nam Khay Village

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Lay Kay Kaw: heavy clashes between the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and regime troops. Several regime troops and 2 Resistance fighters have been reportedly killed. A captain of the Tatmadaw was captured. The Burmese army launched an airstrike forcing civilians to flee

MAGWAY
• Pauk: regime troops set Zee Taw village on fire. Dozens of people have been abducted
• Pakkoku: a civilian was killed by the Burmese army near Kaing Ywa. They reported about bullying inside the Burmese military, and that they received only 100,000 kyats per month, insted of the regular salary of 160,000 kyats.

ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• The Arakan Army (AA) celebrates its 13th anniversary. Resistance groups claim to have received assistance from the AA during the past year

YANGON
• Inya Road: Resistance fighters attacked a military compound. The video of the attack has been widely shared online
Lanmadaw Township: Major Kaday Phyo Aung, the military administration officer for Yangon’s Lanmadaw Township, was gunned down in the township by resistance fighters on Sunday afternoon. (Source: The Irrawaddy)
