• New research by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) shows that online illegal wildlife trade in Myanmar increased by 74 percent from 2020 to 2021. • The United Nations special envoy for Myanmar met this week with the Association of South East Asian (ASEAN) envoy to discuss their joint efforts at peace-making in Myanmar, AP reports.
• Three Myanmar fishermen died in Pattani, Thailand. Maung San Hla, Nyi Nyi and Kyaw Win Maung were from Laynyingtaung village, Mrauk-U Township in Arakan state. Their death was caused by deadly gas produced by the rotten fish

• 2 Chinese nationals have been arrested while trying to illegally cross the Mekong River in the Golden Triangle

• Dawse village: artillery shelling fired by the Burmese army

• Aung Myay Thar San Township: a pro-military administrator was shot dead while riding the motorbike.

• Yesagyo: Resistance fighters attacked regime troops with landmines. 4 soldiers were killed in yesterday in Sin Chae Village. a civilian woman was killed by soldiers in Pyong Bu Village
• Myaing: Resistance fighters attacked regime troops in Yar Gyi Pyin village
ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
• During the March 30th funeral of Phung Kyar Shin, ormer chairman of the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), Twan Mrat Naing, the Commander-in-Chief of the Arakan Army (AA), said his army has more than 100 battalions, formed by 300 soldiers each. He added that the Burmese Army is an enemy, and that the AA will fight alongside its allies. The AA is a member of the Northern Alliance, and is close to other ethnic armed groups
