• Khin Thiri Thet Mon, daughter of coup leader Min Aung Hlaing, has acquired a stake in Investcom PTE Ltd which recently bought the Norwegian telcom, Telenor Myanmar.
• Myanmar’s parallel civilian National Unity Government’s (NUG) foreign ministry has been lobbying the international community to offer asylum to military defectors as a means to boost the revolution. After the news of two Burmese military defectors being granted a visa by the Australian government, there have been reports of an increase of requests of info by regime troops.
• The Japanese company Eneos Holdings will withdraw from the Yetagun gas field
