The Burmese military spokesperson Zaw Min Tun, expressed its support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Russia is one of the most important suppliers of military equipment for the Tatmadaw, and it also is a political ally. As permanent members the UN Security Council, Russia and China are believed to be shielding Min Aung Hlaing’s regime.

• The military-controlled Union Election Commission (UEC), requested to the National League for Democracy (NLD) and the Shan Nationalities League for Democracy (SNLD) to submit their financial accounts, threatening to disband them if they do not cooperate.
• Cambodian PM and ASEAN Chairman Hun Sen met with Malaysian PM Ismail Sabri Yaakob. They released a joint-statement calling for the “timely and effective implementation” of ASEAN’s Five-Point Consensus on Myanmar
• The National Unity Government (NUG, the democratic government that opposes the military regime), blacklisted 3 aviation fuel suppliers who are dealing with the Burmese military: Yangon Aerodrome Company Ltd (Subsidiary of Asia World Group); ASIA Sun Energy (local partner of PUMA Energy); The Myat Group’s Myat Myittar Mon Group of Companies
• According to DVB, the military regime ordered Myanmar Police Force Headquarters to plant landmines around police stations across the country
CHIN STATE

• Kalay: a mother and two of her children have been killed and burned by regime soldiers in Chuangkhuah. Nu Len (40), Ngun Za Thian (15) and Thian Nun (13) are the names of the victims.
• Kalay: 2 civilians. Aung Tun (50) and Than Hla have been arrested, tortured and then killed by regime soldiers in Nga Phar village. Than Hla suffered from muteness (Source: AAPP Burma)
• Depayin: regime soldiers raided and destroyed Gway Pin Gone village, arresting several villagers. One of them was later found dead
• Kawlin: 4 dead bodies found, including two women who have been reportedly raped and then murdered
KACHIN STATE
• Hpakant: regime soldiers fired artillery shells this evening
• Kamaing: clashes between the Kachin Independence Army and regime soldiers, 2 regime soldiers killed.
KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Demoso: 2 civilians killed during an airstrike

• Chauk: some 20 youths, almost all aged 15-16, who have been arrested during the 222222 Strike, have been tortured by regime soldiers, according to Resistance groups.
• Gangaw: hundreds of male civilians have reportedly fled from Hanthawaddy village, as the military regime threatened thouse who refuse to undergo military training
YANGON
• Mingaladon: the military-owned Shwe Phi Oo instant tea factory was set on fire

• Launglon: more than 30 youths who were celebrating a birthday party in Tha Byar Village have been arrested by regime soldiers on suspicion of taking part to the 222222 protest.
• Dawei: 9 university students, members of the Dawei District Strike Committee, have been sentenced to 9 years of prison
