POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS
• It’s the Gambia’s turn at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The Gambia rejects all the objections previously made by the military regime.
• Aung Myo Min, minister or human rights of the National Unity Government (NUG, the democratic government that opposes the regime), says that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi “challenged the jurisdiction of the ICJ as she preferred to use the domestic jurisdiction for bringing justice”, regarding the controversial appearance of DASSK at the Hague in 2019, when she defended the military in front of the International Court of Justice. The NUG is taking the opposite approach, seeking the help of the ICJ to hold the Burmese military accountable for the Rohingya genocide.
• According to DVB, the body of Swan Htet Aung (17), who has been killed by regime soldiers, has yet to be returned to his family
• Denko Trading, an oil distributor owned by leading crony Chit Khine, has released a statement denying that it is importing and distributing fuel for military aircraft involved in attacks against Burmese civilians (Source: DVB)

SAGAING

• Monywa: over 30 civilians, accused of protesting against the regime and supporting the armed Resistance have been arrested yesterday.
• Pale: Resistance fighters have been able to rescue around 40 villagers in in Zee Phyu Kone, which has been occupied by regime soldiers. According to the residents, soldiers threatened to kill them if they did not join the Pyu Saw Htee group, a pro-military militia,

KACHIN STATE
• Myitkyina: a man was shot dead in Tat Kone ward
• Putao: Resistance fighters of the Kachin Independence Army and the People’s Defence Forces, attacked regime soldiers in Longa Kaung. Several casualties have been reported

SHAN STATE
• Moebye: after many days of battles, a drone video shows dozens of dead soldiers on the ground and many injured being treated. Heavy casualties have been reported on both sides
• Nawnghkio: Resistance fighters attacked a military outpost killing one soldier and injuring 4. 3 Resistance fighters have been injured (Source: The Irrawaddy)
• Unidentified gunmen attacked the lodgings of staff from Naung Cho Railway Station at around 1. 30 a.m. this morning. Civilians are said to have been injured in the attack which lasted for half an hour. No armed group operating in the region has yet claimed responsibility for the attack (Source: DVB)
• The military regime arrested two Christian priests: John Paul Lwel from Pekhon Catholic Church and father John Bosco from Tuangyi Catholic Church

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Demoso: the military regime launched airstrikes on Resistance fighters. In Lewoe, at least 10 regime soldiers have been killed by Resistance fighters
• Loikaw: a 70-year-old man died after being hit by shrapnel from artillery fired by Light Infantry Battalion 422 (Source: The Irrawaddy)

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
• Mi Chaung Win village: regime soldiers and Border Guard Forces (BGF) launched heavy artillery destroying a school and some civilian houses
• Nagar-Taung hill: 3 civilians seriously injured by mortar shells fired by regime soldiers

MANDALAY
• Pyigyidagun: 2 policemen have been killed and 8 injured in an explosion near the Yadanarbon University branch. Several policemen have been injured in other explosions on 46th and 47th Street.
• Pauk: 8 members of the Burmese military regime have been killed, including soldiers and policemen.
• Over 1,000 CDM staff living in the Myit Nge Myoma Railway staff lodgings in Amarapura township have recently been evicted by the junta’s railway authorities. (Source: DVB)

• U Khine Kyaw Moe, a member of Central Executive Committees (CEC) of the Arakan National Party (ANP) was abducted by the Arakan Army (AA) for criticizing U Hla Saw who attended a celebration of Union Day in Naypyidaw on behalf of United League of Arakan (ULA/AA). (Source: The Chindwin)

• Hlegu: the military regime restricted the use of social media for staff and family members of the Central Civil Service University

• Launglon: a ranger from Maungmakan police station, was killed

• Mawlamyine: according to Than Lwin Times, the military regime is planning to install a surveillance system that would cover 90% of the city
