• Silent Strike to be held on December 10th. Campaigners will close their activities and stay home, as a sign of protest against the military regime. Today regime soldiers in various regions have been threatening shop owners, ordering them to work tomorrow and to not partecipate in the protest.
• The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), published a census of journalists imprisoned around the world. With 26 journalists currently under detention, Myanmar is the second worst jailer after China (50) and right before Egypt (25).
• Telenor has sent a message to its users, informing them of the recent price increase which has been ordered by the regime’s ministry of telecommunications.
• a U.S. judge has reversed an order to Facebook (now Meta) to disclose to Gambia, private messages sent by now deleted Burmese military accounts. Gambia, who brought the case at the International Court of Justice is seeking evidence of the genocide against the Rohingya community in Myanmar, in which Facebook played an important role by amplifying the anti-muslim propaganda that was coordinated by the Burmese military.

CHIN STATE
• Thantlang: regime soldiers burned other 61 buildings. A total of 553 buildings have been destroyed since September, including civilian houses and churches
• Kanpetlet: clashes between Chin Resistance fighters and regime soldiers. 7 regime soldiers killed.
SAGAING
• Kanbilu: U Hlaing Win, a striking middle school teacher who joined the Civil Disobedience Movement, was tortured to death by regime troops during an interrogation.
• Yinmabin: landmine attack on a military convoy kills ten soldiers. A monastery run by Sitagu Sayadaw, a prominent monk now considered to be close to the regime, has been attacked by Resistance fighters. The monastery was hosting regime troops.
• Dontaw: 4 more bodies found dead, including that of an 11 year-old.
SHAN STATE
• DVB reports that opium fields have reappeared alongside the Hopong-Pinlon Road following the coup
KACHIN STATE
• Hpakant: the regime’s 33 Brigade ordered mining operators to hide their machinery during a military inspection on jade mines. Mining is officially suspended, but some operators are paying bribes to the military to keep working.
KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
• Demoso: 7 regime soldiers killed by Resistance fighters who attacked a base camp in Ngwetaung Oksuh
• Tawkhu Thit: Free Burma Rangers reports that regime soldiers have burned a house
MANDALAY
• Myingyan: 3 policemen killed by Resistance fighters
• Aungmyaytharzan: 3 soldiers and a local administrator killed during an attack on a military outpost
• Natogyi: a 35 year-old mentally ill man killed by regime troops
YANGON
• Twantwe: an alleged military informant shot dead at a teashop.
• South Okkalapa and Mayangone: police station attacked by Resistance fighters.
MON STATE
• Yay Township: 2 children and 2 women injured by artillery fired by regime soldiers.
• Thanbyuzayat: U Thar Nge shot dead by regime soldiers while riding his motorbike, for unknown reasons.
