Around 100 regime soldiers raided the village of Done Taw village, Salingyi, Sagaing, and burned alive 11 civilians, mostly teenagers. A disabled person was among the victims as well. The youths, all aged 14 to 40, were members of the Resistance, but were unarmed when they were captured by the troops.

POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS
According to The Irrawady, the regime is forcing children from military families aged 14 and above, to undergo military training, including shooting with weapons. Since the coup, the Burmese Army has been overstretched, due to the many conflicts and pro-democracy activities all around the country. The regime is also having difficulties finding new recruits, and is now recalling retired soldiers and asking wives of their troops to join the army.
According to the Irrawady, former President U Thein Sein, donated 5 million kyat (2.800 USD) to military informant’s families who got attacked by Resistance groups. Military informants (also known as “dalan” in Myanmar), help the military regime by passing information on pro-democracy activities in their respective neighbourhoods.

SAGAING
Depayin: clashes between Resistance groups and regime soldiers with alleged helicopter airtrikes. Regime soldiers torched several civilian houses.
Kalay: a pro-democracy police is being formed.
Kalay: 24 year-old Lal Ro Mawi, was abducted, used as a human shield, killed and burned by regime soldiers.

YANGON
Tamwe: a youth who was filming regime forces beating people and destroying properties in Aung MIngalar Street, reportedly jumped from the 5th floor to avoid being arrested. He was taken away by an ambulance and his conditions are unknown.
Kamayut: as the banging pots protests resumed after Sunday’s terrorist attack on peaceful protesters, regime troops responded by destroying cars on the streets.
Kawhmu: a Resistance fighter was killed and another injured during an attack on a police outpost

Myeik: U Pyae Sone Oo, a restaurant owner, was arrested and tortured to death by regime forces.
