The UN postponed its decision on who should represent Myanmar once again. Nothing surprising, but the inaction of the international community is astonishing. Burmese people have lost faith in the UN since long ago, and rightfully decided to take their destiny into their own hands and managed to deny the military regime any sort of control over the country. Make no mistake, if the generals are not getting much international recognition (besides the usual suspects like Russia, China), it’s only thanks to Myanmar people who keep resisting with courage.
