• The NLD Central Working Committee claims that the regime has arrested 573 of its members since the coup. 12 of them died under custody
• The regime filed corruption charges against Dr. Htar Htar Lin, the National immunization director and and Dr. Soe Oo, director-general of public health during the previous government. Dr. Htar Htar Lin was arrested in June and accused of high treason, unlawful association and incitement. She is now charged for returning to UNICEF, 120.000 USD that were given o help fight the Covid pandemic, to prevent the junta from taking control of the funds
• Daniel Kritenbrink, the US assistant secretary of state for East Asia, will visit Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia. Myanmar and how to pressure the generals will be one of the topics discussed with the ASEAN countries.
CHIN STATE
• Mindat: a 30 year-old man was killed by a landmine explosion. His son 2 year-old was injured.
SAGAING
• Naung Gyi, Ayadaw: regime soldiers burned the house of U Htay Lwin, a political activist.
• Lal Khar, Kalay: regime soldiers torched the village. Over 1.500 fled
• Kani: 3 soldiers died in a landmine attack
SHAN STATE
• Kyaukme: more than half of the 2.000 displaced civilians in Kyaukme, live outside the camps and are not receiving any support.
KACHIN STATE
• Moenyin: clashes between the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and regime soldiers
MAGWAY
• Gangaw: five displaced civilians have been tortured and killed by regime soldiers during raids
MON STATE
• Kyaikhto: the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and Resistance fighters attacked regime soldiers, killing 2-4 troops
