•      Interesting article by The Irrawady on how Bill Richardson’s visit was fruitless from a humanitarian standpoint, but served the regime’s propaganda. Even though Richardson is a fairly irrelevant political figure back in the U.S., the visit of an American diplomat has been used by the military to prove its legitimacy to its own troops and supporters.
•      After reports of a clash between the Arakan Army and regime troops in Rakhine State, Zaw Min Tun, spokesperson of the military regime, claims the battle was against the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA)
•      Rumors about the arrest of Ye Htut, former spokesman of former president Thein Sein were fake.

•      Kani: locals report an airstrike carried by an helicopter

SHAN STATE
•      Pekhon: a Christian church was hit by artillery fired by regime soldiers.
•      The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) is withdrawing its troops from 3 areas to ease tensions with regime soldiers. The two armies have been battling in Northern Shan for months

•      The Karenni Generation Z Army (KGZA), announced a reward of (the equivalent of) 1,700 USD for every defecting soldiers

•      Mahar Aung Myay: 1 regime soldiers injured in an explosion near a ward office
•      Sint Kue: a A former Union Betterment Party (UBP) candidate was shot dead

MAGWAY
•      Properties belonging to 4 NLD MPs seized by regime authorities

ARAKAN (RAKHINE) STATE
•      Regime authorities are blocking youth activists from raising funds for Thantlang, the Chin town recently burned by the military regime.

NAYPYIDAW
•      Explosion at the Myoma market, not far from the Parliament. No casualties reported.

YANGON
•      Hlaing Thar Yar: a manager of the Rui Ning Myanmar Garment Factory was shot dead by Resistnace fighters

MON STATE
•      Zot Thut, Bilin: a USDP member shot dead by unidentified men
•      Thaton: Resistance fighters of the Mon Thaton Special Defence Force (MTHSF), partially destroyed the arsenal of the artillery battalion 402.
•      Ye: veterans have been recruited and given weapons by the military regime, to work at checkpoints.

THANINTHARYI
•      Mutaw: clashes between the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and regime soldiers who raided the village
