Resistance sources report over 100 regime soldiers killed today. Although it is impossible to verify these claims, but it is clear that the regime is having difficulties, especially in Sagaing where it had to launch an airstrike after suffering several losses in Kawlin.
Yangon has seen several attacks today, especially in Mingalardon and Mayangone, two military-heavy townships.
In Ayeyarwady the regime seized 7 houses from civilians accused of supporting Resistance groups. Similar episodes have been recently reported in other areas of the country, after the regime announced it will seize the land properties of civilians who engage in anti-military activities.
The head of the IIMM (Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar), a UN body in charge of investigating crimes and violations of international law committed in Myanmar since 2011, specifically cited “crimes against humanity”, after reviewing the evidence collected since the coup. Now it’s time for the United Nations and the International Crime Court to act, there are no more excuses.

POLITICS, ECONOMY AND OTHER NEWS
•       Nicholas Koumjian, head of the UN Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar said that preliminary evidence collected since the February 1st coup, shows systematic violence against Myanmar civilians “amounting to crimes against humanity.” He said that the increase in violence a few weeks after the military takeover, “Was happening in different places at the same time, indicating to us it would be logical to conclude this was from a central policy…And, also, we saw that particular groups were targeted, especially for arrests and detentions that appear to be without due process of law. And this includes, of course, journalists, medical workers and political opponents.”
•       A total of 122 regime soldiers died nationwide today, according to Resistance sources
•       The military regime amended the Law on Television and Broadcasting, adding prison sentences for violators in place of monetary fines. The amendment, together with the new provisions to over 63 laws since the coup, aim to increase the military control of the country (Source: RFA).
•       Military controlled MRTV reported that prominent 1988 pro-democracy activist Ko Jimmy has been charged by the regime for allegedly possessing weapons and for being a member of a “terrorist” group. Ko Jimmy was arrested few weeks ago and was hospitalized for injuries sustained during the arrest.

•       DVB reports that according to the National Unity Government Yangon regional command, over 100 regime soldiers have been killed in the former capital in the past 2 months

CHIN STATE
•       Tedim: 2 regime soldiers killed by Resistance fighters
•       Mindat: 20 regime soldiers killed by Resistance fighters

SAGAING
•       Kawlin: at least 50 regime soldier have been killed by Resistance fighters. Following the losses, the regime deployed 2 helicopters and launched an airstrike.
•       Kalay: the Yaw Defense Force claims to have killed more than 10 regime soldiers
•       Mwe Le village: regime soldiers burned several houses

SHAN STATE
•       Kyaukme: over 2.500 civilians displaced by a conflict between ethnic armed organizations. The Shan State Army (RCSS) has been fighting against the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Shan State Progressive Party (SSPP) for months.
•       Kutkai: Kachinwaves reports that a 50-year-old woman was raped by regime soldiers
•       Phekone: 4th consecutive day of battle between Resistance fighters and regime soldiers
•       The deputy director of the Sub-State Department of Kengtung township was sentenced to three years in prison under Section 505(a) on Friday. The civil servant was not partaking in the CDM but was nonetheless arrested after posting about the coup on Facebook (Source: DVB)

KACHIN STATE
•       Hopin: shooting at a tea shop killed 6 civilians, including a 5 year old child and a monk. 8 people are reportedly injured. According to locals, the attack was carried out by the pro-military group Pyu Saw Htee.

KARENNI (KAYAH) STATE
•       The Karenni Defense Force found two bodies buried by regime soldiers. The victims were tied with ropes, and probably died after being tortured

KAREN (KAYIN) STATE
•       Fapon: 2 regime soldiers injured by unidentified men.

MAGWAY
•       Myaing: Resistance group Myaing PDF claims that the regime used women as human shield during clashes
•       Natmauk: the body of a non CDM education officer was found on November 4th (Source: DVB)
•       Yezakyo: pro-military local administrators are undergoing training at a military base. Over

BAGO
•       Yae Tar Shay: a CB bank was robbed by a group of 4 who stole around 30.000 USD
•       Pyay: civilians have been asked by regime soldiers to pay 6.000 ks fines for not wearing masks. In Pathein it was previously reported that regime soldiers collected fines from civilians wearing face masks.

AYEYARWADY
•       Yekyi: 7 houses expropriated by the regime. The owners are accused of sponsoring Resistance groups

YANGON
•       Mingalardon: 3 attacks by Resistance fighters. Resistance fighters attacked a military meeting at the Mingalardon general administration office, injuring 7 people. In one video shared online, Resistance fighters can be seen attacking the Myanmar Air Force base, killing 2 regime soldiers at the gate. 1 vendor was also reportedly killed.
•       Mayangone: 3 killed in a Thamine ward administrative office.
•       Insein: 3 local administrators killed
•       South Dagon: gunfight between regime soldiers and a Resistance group
•       Hlaing Thar Yar: military informant killed

THANINTHARYI
•       Dawei: a father was killed and his son was injured by unidentified gunmen. The victim, U Khin Maung Aye, was brother of an NLD member who also got killed months ago.
