Thantlang is burning
Regime troops of Light Infantry Battalions 222 and 269, and Light Infantry Division 11, fired artillery in the middle of the town. Several building caught fire, including 2 churches. Many residents were forced to flee due to conflict in recent days, and the fire could not be stopped. Over 100 buildings have been destroyed in what appears to be a clear crime against humanity under the Geneva Conventions.
Chin State is one of the poorest States of Myanmar, but its people have been resisting the coup with amazing strength and courage, inflicting several losses to the regime.
The regime is struggling in Sagaing region too. Yesterday the regime sent reinforcements by helicopter and launched airstrikes.
